AXA Hearts in Action GO BACK

The Global AXA Group has a firm belief that large companies such as AXA have a responsibility towards the communities and countries they operate in. AXA Hearts in Action is a vehicle by which AXA employees and their families can collectively make a difference in their local communities.

AXA Hearts in Action is a Global AXA Group community based volunteer programme that forges ongoing relationships with local charities and enables the development of strong links between community organisations and AXA employees who volunteer their time.

At AXA we recognise that our people are a valuable resource and seek to match these people with organisations that are concerned with the welfare of others.

AXA Charitable Trust Fund

In July 2005, Group CEO, Les Owen announced the establishment of a $40m Charitable Trust which will see Hearts in Action making significant financial contributions to each of our community partners. This will support our strategy of developing programmes to help children in need and people affected by poverty and homelessness.

In addition to funding selected projects and initiatives with our charity partners, we have established a Grant Programme to respond to applications for funds from not for profit organisations. This programme has been established to specifically support worthy initiatives and provide donations for causes/charities that are in line with our overall strategy.
